Brannon S. La Force

Brannon is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been in practice as Senior Counselor and Founder of Castlebrook Counseling since 1991.  Mr. La Force holds a M.S. in Counseling from the University of South Alabama.  He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical and Health Psychology from Walden University.  He is a National Certified Counselor and is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, the American Psychological Association, and the Association for the Treatement of Sexual Abusers. Prior to his work with Castlebrook, Mr. La Force worked in a psychiatric hospital and for churches as a youth minister. He specializes in marriage therapy and issues of sexual abuse and addiction. Lena M. Eaton

Lena joined the Castlebrook staff as an intern in 2002. She is an Associate Licensed Counselor under the supervision of Brannon S. La Force, LPC.   Prior to coming to Castlebrook, Mrs. Eaton worked 25 years with the City of Mobile as a Secretary II in the Urban Development Department and retired in 1994. Mrs. Eaton received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Mobile in 1997 and a M.S. degree in General Counseling from Alabama State University in 2002.

Mrs. Eaton also has experience with many local groups, including (but not limited to) the following:

• YWCA (after school program and assesssments)
• Mobile Public School System and Mobile Mental Health Center (individual and group counseling with Katrina victims)
  
• Save-A-Life (Women's Resource Center (Crisis Pregnancy Counseling)
  
• Victory Health Partners (therapist)
  
• GROWTH - Strickland Youth Center
  

Mrs. Eaton is married to Allen, her husband of 38 years, has three childred and four grandchildren. She is a member of the Mt. Olive First Missionary Baptist Church, where she teaches 9-11 year old Sunday school, is a member of the deacon wives ministry, the choir, and president of the mission ministry. She is an active council member of Women In Worship with Alicia Williamson Garcia.

Mrs. Eaton is a Member of the Mobile Licensed Professional Counselors Association

Her interest is to help young people "find themselves" and also help women to be the best that God has called them to be. She believes that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us and that God has a plan and a purpose for each of us.
